Warm, Hearty, Filling and Tasty......Perfect on a cold winter day.
Ingredients:
• 1 pound ground beef
• 3 cloves minced garlic
• Salt and Pepper to taste
• 1/2 head of cabbage chopped
• 1 14 oz can of diced tomatoed (undrained)
• 1 14 oz can of crushed tomatoes
• 2 stalks of celery chopped
• 2 carrots chopped
• 1 onion chopped
• 1 16 oz can of kidney beans (drained)
• 3 1/2 cups beef stock
• 1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning
Instructions:
1. In a large pot or Dutch Oven brown the ground beef.
2. Add the garlic, salt and pepper to taste
3. Add chopped cabbage, tomatoes, celery, carrots, beans, broth and Italian seasoning
4. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and let it simmer for at least an hour
